Turns and curves in the road are like sex to a motorcyclist. The first time he/she experiences that high-speed turn, maneuvering the motorcycle in unnatural ways–there is fear, nervousness, anxiety, etc. However, once he/she gets a taste of that exhilarating sensation the motorcyclist can never get enough. I’ve been on these blasted straight-a-ways for the last four states for so long that I’ve begun creating my own turns, by curving back and forth between the wheel ruts in the byways. Left, right, right, left, you get the picture. It’s been so long since I’ve had any good curves in the road, I’m starting to feel that anxiety from my first time.
